On the morningof September 25, the School of Foreign Languages and Cultural Communication held a pre-assessment meeting for undergraduate education teaching audit andevaluation, aiming to further diagnose and take the pulse of the School ofForeign Languages and Cultural Communication's education and teaching andoverall development, and to promote the construction of the School byevaluation and to promote the improvement of the School by evaluation. Two experts from sister colleges and universities in the city came to guide themeeting. Gu Xiankai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, presided over the debriefing meeting, and all the team members as well as DepartmentHeads, Heads of Programs and some backbone teachers attended the event.

Vice Dean YuPing made a report on behalf of the college, and he gave a detailed introduction in five aspects, including the college's functional orientation,undergraduate education, educational characteristics, work progress and problem rectification. The two experts gave feedback after listening to the report,talking with key teachers, reviewing teaching materials, inspectinglaboratories and other processes, and put forward a series of constructivesuggestions and opinions.

The experts affirmed the school's characteristics and highlights, and at the same time put forward a lot of valuable opinions on the shortcomings and problems in the keyaspects of the audit and evaluation atmosphere, featured highlights condensation, quality assurance of talent cultivation, preparation of teaching materials, practical teaching and construction of teaching and learning styles.

Gu Xiankai expressed his gratitude to the assessment experts for their hard work andvaluable opinions, and said that the College will seriously study and digest the experts' pertinent suggestions, actively improve and strengthen the management, and meet the upcoming formal assessment with down-to-earth style and good performance.
