Ms. Zhen Hu, Vice Dean of School of Foreign Languagesand Cultural Communication, Associate Professor, Master's Degree Tutor. She has rich teaching experience and has undertaken the courses of "General English" and "General English for Academic Purposes". She is an excellent participant of the Advanced Training Course for Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teachers of the Ministry of Education, and a visiting scholar of the research centers of Applied English Language and Literature at the University of Birmingham, UK. She has presided over one key course in Shanghai, participated in two horizontal projects on Translation and Interpreting, won the Second Prize of Teaching Achievement Award of the University, published two monographs, over 400,000 words of translations, edited or participated in the editing of seven textbooks, and published eight academic papers, and has been engaged in the research of English-Chinese Translation and Interpreting for along time.
