Five students from the Japanese department made great achievements in the First Shanghai Youth Multilingual Micro-Speaking Competition
The first Shanghai Youth Multilingual Micro-Speaking Contest closed on the 17th of this month. The contest, co-organized by the Shanghai Education Association for International Exchange and the Key Language Education Research Center of East China Normal University, aims to promote cross-learning integration of multi-language education in middle schools and universities. We will strengthen exchanges between middle school students and college students in Shanghai and enrich young people's literary creation activities.
After two rounds of preliminary and final anonymous evaluation, five students from the Japanese department of our school won three first prize and two third prize respectively from more than 270 entries in Japanese (see the list below).
The winning works of this micro-speaking contest reflect the characteristics of the times and the state of life in micro, express the author's observation and thinking in foreign languages, and express the humanistic care in the real society in the form of micro-talk. The organizer will print the portfolio into a book (as shown below).
