    At the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), a grand gathering full of global vision and cultural integration, The Little Leafs of the Academy's Qingshi Studio demonstrated the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture to friends all over the world through the medium of wood-block New Year paintings in the Shanghai Primary School. This innovative move has attracted wide attention from major media organizations, including the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Youth Shanghai, Eastday.com, and Shanghai Education News Network, which have publicized and reported the event. This gift not only embodies our efforts and wisdom, but also bears the mission of inheriting and innovating the excellent Chinese traditional culture.

    From the initial preparation to the final presentation, each step is full of challenges and surprises. I remember that in May this year, the Little Leafs of the Qingshi Studio formed the Search for the City Memory, Inherit the Culture of the Shanghai Style, the Shanghai Primary School woodblock New Year painting non-genetic team. Through in-depth practice, such as data investigation and non-genetic study, we deeply understand the art value and inheritance predicament of Shanghai Primary School Woodcut New Year Painting. Therefore, from July, we started the re-creation of woodblock New Year pictures with our reverence and love for traditional culture.

    Under the leadership of Xue Zhipeng, we try to combine the classic elements of wood New Year paintings with the modern context, and use the concept of living state inheritance to explain the meaning of New Year paintings in a youthful and modern way. This is a bold and significant attempt, we carefully design the picture, the elements of CIIE, as well as the 'small worker ants' of our school, as well as the unique elements of Shanghai, and other characteristics of the woodblock New Year painting with the characteristics of techniques. Each piece of work embodies our creativity and sweat, and we hope that in this way, this ancient art form will be given new vigor and vitality.
