  On June 20th, Sha Hailin, president of shanghai public relations association, Du Zhizhong, and Chen Qingshan, vice president of shanghai public relations association, visited our university. Party Secretary Wu Song and President Xie Huaqing attended the seminar.

     Secretary Wu song warmly welcomed the visit of shanghai public relations association and expressed gratitude to the association for its long-term care and support for the development of the public relations specialty of the university. President Xie Huaqing introduced the history, discipline construction, specialty construction, and cooperation in production, learning and research, and the cooperation between the school and local governments, enterprises and institutions, and social organizations in a variety of fields and in-depth way. Relying on the superior disciplines, we have blazed a path of characteristic development of application-oriented colleges and universities, and we look forward to working with the public relations association to achieve win-win results.

    Gu Xiankai, Party Secretary of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Zheng Peiyun, President of the Institute of Public Relations, and Zhu Xiaolin, Head of the Department of Public Relations, respectively made detailed reports on the development process, professional characteristics and talent cultivation of the School of Foreign Languages and Culture Communication and Public Relations. After the report, Vice Presidents Du Zhizhong and Chen Qingshan highly recognized the characteristics and achievements of the public relations major, and the PR Association will strengthen cooperation with the University to support the cultivation of more excellent public relations talents. Join forces to serve the city image building of Shanghai.

      Chairman Sha Hailin said in the end that the SSPU adheres to the orientation of cultivating applied technology-based talents and has achieved fruitful results and outstanding characteristics. The association will conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation with the SSPU in terms of platform construction and talent cultivation, and jointly make greater contributions to the development of Shanghai's urban construction and public relations industry.
