The School of Foreign Language and Culture Communication held a forum for alumni to celebrate the school's anniversary
On September 27, the eve of the school's anniversary, the School of Foreign Languages and Cultural Communication invited some of its alumni back to the school to talk about the friendship between teachers and students and discuss the development plan. School Party Secretary Gu Xiankai and relevant professional responsible persons and backbone teachers attended the seminar.
On behalf of the School, Gu Xiankai warmly welcomed the alumni home and thanked them for their concern and support for the construction and development of the School. He briefed the alumni on the key work and achievements made in the fields of discipline and specialty optimization, talent training quality improvement and social services in recent years. At the same time, it also analyzes the difficulties and challenges facing the development of the college under the new situation. He said that alumni are a valuable asset and an important force for promoting the sustainable development of the Institute, and that the Institute is happy for every bit of progress made by alumni in their careers and lives. It is also hoped that the alumni will continue to care about the development of the Institute and give support to the construction of disciplines and specialties, talent cultivation and employment of students, and the Institute will also rely on the Alumni Association and other platforms to provide assistance to the general alumni to the best of its ability.
During the discussion, the alumni deeply reviewed their university life, revisited their deep friendship with the teachers of the alma mater, thanked the alma mater and the teachers of the alma mater for their training, and rejoiced in the rapid development of the school in recent years. With regard to the development of the school, the alumni have put forward many valuable suggestions and opinions from the perspective of the front-line workplace in light of their own working conditions. It is suggested that the school strengthen the cultivation of composite and innovative students, strengthen the empowerment of liberal arts students with artificial intelligence and other new technologies, and provide more practical opportunities to cultivate students' ability of communication, exchange and teamwork.
